V-E Review
* Vowel-Consonant-E syllables have a VOWEL, then a CONSONANT, then an E.
* The first vowel is long.
* The e is silent.
example: cape *a makes the long sound as in safe, and the e is silent
U Makes Two Sounds in a V-E word
*When the letter u is used in a vowel-consonant-e word, it can make two different sounds.
